To kick off the new year, let's see what's up and coming on the plains this month.
SINGLE FAMILY/SUBDIVISION
No single family developments were proposed in January.
MULTIFAMILY
The multifamily suggestions were thin as well, with two developments proposed, one a duplex and the other private dormitories.
North Ross Duplexes: Preliminary and final plat approval for a performance residential development (lot consolidation of seven lots into one for a multiple family development).
306 East Thach: Recommendation to City Council for conditional use approval for a performance residential development (private dormitory).
BUSINESS/COMMERCIAL
The only proposal in January for business-related things is SkyBar's remodel.
SkyBar Back Deck Remodel: Recommendation to City Council for conditional use approval for the expansion of an existing commercial and entertainment use (lounge).
OTHER
The Moratorium on private student housing has finally been proposed, along with a park and a telecommunications tower.
Moratorium Ordinance: Recommendation to City Council to declare a moratorium on the construction of private dormitory and academic detached dwelling unit developments within the City limits of Auburn.
Williams Rezoning: Recommendation to City Council for rezoning of approximately 1.8 acres to Development District Housing (DDH).
Farmville Lakes Amenity Lot: Recommendation to City Council for conditional use approval for an outdoor recreational use (subdivision amenity).
Wimberly Road Telecommunications Tower: Recommendation to City Council for conditional use approval for a public service use (telecommunications tower).
Dinius Park: Recommendation to City Council for conditional use approval for a public service use (public park space).
