Auburn, AL: May Planning Notes
(all information is gathered from auburnalabama.org)
With many recommendations being tabled until the next meeting this month, only two single family developments remained. The amount of lots added is 29.
Kouless-Young Subdivision, Redivision of Lot 1: Preliminary plat approval for a performance residential development [22 townhouse lots, one (1) open space lot, and one (1) lot for future development].
West Tech Park Annex Subdivision: Preliminary plat approval for a conventional subdivision [seven (7) lot subdivision].
For the first time in the past few months, a business has put in a request to the city council. It's a storage unit, which in a city that has dire need of storage at least once a year as students move in and out of the copious apartments available, will probably do well.
East Glenn Storage at Bent Creek: Recommendation to City Council for conditional use approval for a commercial support use (mini-warehouse/climate controlled storage).
