Planning Commission Agenda 2017

Things are happening in Auburn. It's hard not to notice, with apartments sprouting up seemingly overnight, and construction cones breeding from one blocked-off street to the next. And while next week I'm going to release an article about the top ten buildings/businesses coming to the plains, this post is all about summarizing what's being discussed in Auburn's Planning Commission meetings. It gives a good gist of what people are trying to make happen in this city. 

  • Yarbrough Farms PDD Amendment

    • They want to remove 31 single family residential lots and add 28-unit multiple unit development and 19 residential townhouses.

  • Kinnucan annexation

    • 2351 Hamilton RD

    • They want the city to annex 16.2 acres.

  • Kinnucan pre-zoning

    • 2351 Hamilton RD

    • Pre-zone 24.15 acres as DDH.

  • Kinnucan plat 1 and 2

    • Preliminary plat approval for 1) 15 lot single family detached subdivision and 2) 36 lot single family residential subdivision.

  • Burt Annexation

    • Miracle RD/Lee RD 83

    • They want the city to annex about 231.5 acres.

  • Burt pre-zoning

    • They want those 231.5 acres to be zoned as DDH.

  • Burt PDD

    • They want the PDD designation over those acres as well.

  • Mimm’s Trail Subdivision, 9th addition

    • Preliminary plat approval for 74 lot single family detached.

  • Rosemary Gate

    • Preliminary plat approval for 27 lot performance residential townhouses.

  • North Ryan St Duplex

    • 216 N Ryan ST

    • They want conditional use approval for a duplex.

  • The James on College ST.

    • They want to amend the ordinance that placed the PDD designation over their 557.65 acres. They want to change from a commercial use to a performance residential use, specifically the addition of 14 twin-home lots and 3 townhouse lots.

    • They want to remove the PDD designation from 34.86 acres of their 781.92 acres in order to allow residential use on them.
